Spaghetti Omelette

Updated: Jul 27, 2020

“Food is everything we are. It’s an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It’s inseparable from those from the get-go.”Anthony Bourdain

Let's keep this quick and easy, just like the recipe! I love trying new things, and I have to say that before I tried this recipe for spaghetti omelette, I had NEVER heard of such a thing! It sounded so strange to me, but like with most things, I had to give it a go! I mean, spaghetti, good, omelette, good, together, why not?!? It's an easy recipe that takes very little time to prepare, so let's get started!

Ingredients:

- Spaghetti

- 4 Eggs

- Roasted Bell Pepper (chopped)

- 1/4 Onion (chopped)

- 1 Tbsp - Chicken or Vegetable broth powder

- 1 Tsp - Pepper

- 1 Tbsp - Parsley

- Salt (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Follow the directions on the packaging for the spaghetti. Cook and set aside.

  2. Crack and add the eggs to a large bowl. Then add the in the parsley, roasted red peppers, the bell peppers, onions and vegetable broth powder. Mix until fully combined.

  3. Add in the spaghetti and continue to mix.

  4. In a pan set to a low heat, pour the mixture in and cover for a few minutes. Check the bottom of the omelette to see when it is ready to be flipped. You are looking for a golden brown colour. Cover again for a few minutes.

  5. Place on a plate and serve!
