Oven Baked Oat Bars

I hope these simple, healthy and awesome oat bars will help to energize your day! Make them, store and snack on them whenever you need a little pick-me-up! Happy eating!


This recipe produces approximately 10 servings, and 1 serving equals: 205 calories, 4g fat, 4.9g protein, 36.6g carbs.




Ingredients:

3 cups (320g) - Rolled Oats

1 1/2 tsp - Baking Powder

2 tsp - Ground Cinnamon

3 tbsp - Ground Flax seeds

A pinch of Salt

1/2 cup (180g) - Apple Sauce

1 tsp - Vanilla Extract

1/2 cup (150g) - Maple Syrup

3 tsp - Coconut Oil

1 cup (230g) - Almond Milk

1/2 cup (60g) - Strawberries (frozen or fresh/chopped)


Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. In a bowl add in your oats, baking powder, cinnamon, flaxseeds, and salt. Mix and set aside.

  3. In a smaller bowl combine the apple sauce, vanilla extract, maple syrup, coconut oil and almond milk. Mix until combined.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix. Add in the strawberries.

  5. Pour the mixture into a parchment paper lined 8x8 baking tray. Smooth the surface and bake for 30-35 minutes.

  6. When ready, allow the tray to cool for a few minutes before cutting into individual bars.

  7. Once completely cooled, feel free to keep the bars in the fridge or in the freezer in an air tight container or freezer bag.
